Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms govern use of the public PetsHealth website and the PetsHealth mobile application and related services. The public website and the application are different parts of the service: the website presents information, while the application provides account-based pet-care features.

2. The service

The current PetsHealth core application provides account and profile management, pet profiles and passports, health history, documents and photos, reminders, shared care and device notifications. It does not currently provide clinic or service search or booking, a marketplace, a public community or subscriptions.

PetsHealth is not a veterinary clinic. The application and website do not replace professional veterinary advice, diagnosis or emergency care.

3. Public website contacts

The current public website does not collect contact or business-interest form values. It provides direct email, telephone, social-network and messaging links instead; those contacts are handled by the relevant providers and recipients.

Do not send medical records, payment details, passwords or other sensitive information through public contact channels. This is separate from account and product-data processing performed by the application and its backend.

4. Accounts and user content

Application users are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting access to their account and only uploading or sharing information they are entitled to use. You remain responsible for the profile, pet, health, document, reminder and shared-care content you add.

5. Third-party services

The service uses external providers for authentication, hosting, databases, file storage, push notifications, diagnostics, application distribution and infrastructure. Links to external services are governed by those providers’ own terms and notices.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt unauthorised access or interfere with the service.
• Do not upload unlawful, malicious, abusive or misleading content.
• Do not misuse another person’s or pet’s information.
• Do not use PetsHealth as a substitute for emergency veterinary assistance.

7. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content or availability in every location. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Changes and contact

We may update the service and these Terms. The current version is published on this page. Questions can be sent to info@petshealth.app.

Secretary: chat, files and background tasks

The optional Secretary processes messages, attached files, photos, video and original audio to carry out your requests in PetsHealth. Relevant conversation history, remembered facts and application records needed for the task are sent to the configured model providers. The current service uses OpenAI for conversation and task planning and Google Gemini for transcription and media understanding. These providers are separate from optional usage analytics. Original messages, attachments, transcripts, action history and results are stored in your account. Shortening the model context does not delete the original chat. You can inspect, correct or delete remembered facts and disable automatic memory in the chat’s Memory section; account deletion also covers Secretary data. Server tasks may continue after you close the app. Stop prevents further steps but does not undo actions already completed. Notifications depend on your app and device settings; the result remains in chat. The Secretary organizes documents and performs available app actions; it does not diagnose, assess a veterinarian’s prescriptions or book external appointments.

9. Document recognition

Recognition is optional. You may keep a document without recognizing it. OpenAI-assisted transcription may omit, misread or invent text, numbers, dates and units, even where no uncertainty warning is shown. Always check the original before using a result, particularly for treatment or dosage decisions. Recognition is not veterinary advice, diagnosis or a verified medical record. It does not automatically change treatment or create medical entries.

Before starting, review the recognition notice and Privacy Notice. Do not submit unnecessary personal information about others or unrelated sensitive information. You must have a lawful right to supply content for the selected purpose; the recognition button does not provide that right or give consent for somebody else. These duties do not limit our own obligations under applicable law.

10. Reviewing document-derived drafts

Preparing drafts is optional. Proposals can omit, misread or invent names, dates, numbers, units, treatment details and doses, even without an uncertainty warning. They are not veterinary advice, a diagnosis or verified medical records. Check every proposed field against the original and explicitly confirm only records you want to save. A document upload or extraction alone does not create a medical record or reminder.

Only submit documents you may lawfully use for this purpose. Remove unnecessary information about other people, particularly unrelated sensitive information. Requesting draft suggestions does not grant rights to another person’s information or give consent on their behalf; PetsHealth retains its own duties under applicable law. Current access to the source and permission for the record type are checked again before saving.
